Activation Lock and we need help!!!

Hi we haven't use my son old iPad for more than a month and now I have a string to get in but my iPad says Activation Lock and I can't remember password nor Apple ID ? gosh what a pain !!

It gives you a little hint at the top, looks like r*****@gmail.com. You could start by going to iforgot.apple.com and try to type in any emails that this could be that you know of and it will tell you either yes that email is, or no it is not an apple ID.

 

If you do find out which email it is, then you can also use that ice to reset the password that is set up with that account.

 

If you try this and have no luck, the last step you can take is to take the device into an Apple Store, or contact Apple Support, and submit pictures of your original Proof of Purchase of the device. Something along the lines of your original receipt would be ideal because it can show that you are the owner of the device and they can manually remove the activation lock.
