Reminders not updating across devices

Reminders not updating across devices.  I just bough an iPod Touch 6th Gen to replace an iPod Touch 5th Gen.  When I make a Reminder on my iMac 27", the iPod Touch 6th Get does not reflect the new reminder and when I make a reminder on the iPod Touch 6th Generation, it is not reflected on the iMac 27".  It worked perfectly with the iPod Touch 5th Generation... What do I need to do to get this to work?  The iPod Touch 6th Gen had been updated to iOS 11.  and as before it was using iCloud Storage.

Go to your iPod in Settings > (your name) > iCloud > and make sure reminders are on

On Mac, go to System Preferences > iCloud and make sure reminder are on there as well
