macbook pro v macbook air
Hi,
My 2009 Macbook has died. I use it everyday for many hours, mostly for text (Word for Mac) and internet research/email plus storage of photos and I would like to build a website. So I don't need a powerful model but because of the cost - £949/128GB or £1099/256GB - need it to be as future-proof as possible. I read that the Air doesn't have the new USB-C port which is going to be in general use soon. Is that worth considering?
The Pro has 2 USB-C ports and is £1249. I use a mouse, a flash drive and printer (not wireless-friendly) so I do need more ports.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.
I personally think that in the future, most things are going to be USB-C compatible. You should buy the MacBook Pro so you could use it for a longer time.
Thanks for your reply.
