Watch S3 non

Just bought a non-LTE Apple Watch 3. With OS 4.1, will I be able to access and stream my Apple Music account using WIFI? Is this only available with the LTE version? Will it only work via LTE? The biggest complaint w this watch is not having access to all my music with the phone nearby. I'm trying to understand the how this will work and whether I need to upgrade to the LTE version. Any info will help. The people at the Apple Store are no help.
