Mac mini will not boot up

My Mac mini gets to about 40% of booting up then shuts down again. Any suggestions on how to get this on!?

Try resetting the SMC: Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support.

 

Try starting up in Safe Mode as a test and see if it completes successfully: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support.

 

If neither one works, try restarting to the Recovery partition by holding Command + R while you boot up. Try reinstalling macOS, and/or selecting Disk Utility, selecting your hard disk from the sidebar, and repairing the disk.
