Fingerprint scanner?

I work at a retail company and we are aiming to do a membership using thumbprints. I am looking at the iPad Pro, would the finger print reading and scanning work with the pro?

Yes! The home button has a finger print reader but it can only be used to unlock the device and buy items online and in the App Store
