yesterday I could split screen. Today after update I cannot.

Hi. Are you familiar with the implementation of Multitasking in iOS 11? See this link: Use Multitasking on your iPad - Apple Support.

Check your Settings > General > Multitasking and Dock, to be sure it's still enabled.
