iTunes prompting for iPad password to sync
Hello!
I very rarely have a Mac question I cannot find the answer to, but this one is extremely annoying. Ever since updating to macOS High Sierra and iOS 11, iTunes on the Mac and the iPad are constantly trying to sync automatically. When the iPad hasn't been used in a day or two, I receive the message attached to this post. I have tried to prevent automatic syncing to no avail, and selecting "Ok" or "Cancel" only delays the pop-up for about 5 minutes. The only solution I have found is to either close iTunes completely to prevent the pop-up, or unlock the iPad.
I truly hope someone has solved this problem, or can point me in the right direction!
Thank you,
Will
