Apple Watch Stainless Steel Case but no cellular

Hi

I want to buy my husband an Apple Watch for Christmas.

he wants a 42mm stainless steel case which is fine but he doesn’t want cellular - I can’t see an option to buy just GPS.

is it possible?

Apple does not currently offer GPS-only models with a stainless case. All models that are currently available in the US, for example, are detailed here:

 

 

However, if your husband does not want to use the built-in cellular feature, then Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) models - which are available with a stainless steel case - can be used just like the GPS-only models, without activating the built-in cellular feature.

 

Besides the cellular capability and stainless steel case option, Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) also has double the storage capacity of GPS-only models and a ceramic back:

 

 

The built-in cellular feature can be activated later, if and when desired (in conjunction with a supported service plan for the iPhone from a supported carrier):

 

It appears at this time, there is not an option to purchase an Apple Watch Series 3 with GPS only in aluminum. The aluminum body is only currently available for GPS + Cellular.
