Duplicate playlists when Icloud music is turned on

I have an apple music subscription. In order to save my favourite songs it tells me I have to turn on icloud music.

When I do this it creates multiple duplicate playlists of my current playlists and folders that where organised prior to turning this function on.

This is extremely frustrating. I am a dance teacher so each playlist and folder is for specific classes and filed for ease of use for immediate access while in class. My playlist were exceptionally organised and now just a mixed mess.

Also when I turn this function on it somehow disables me being able to use any of my music in 3rd party apps. This means i cant use my apps that slow down music for learning steps at a different tempo.

How can i fix this problem?
