I bought ipad. how do I tell which generation

I just bought an Apple Ipad October 2017. It has retina display and the latest IOS. How can I tell if mine is 4th or 5th gen vs ipad 2017?

I want to buy the logitech slim folio cover but don't know if it will fit. i want to use the home button on the right as my fingertip ID is my right thumb. Old cases will not work. Cheap cases stretch out.

Take a look at this article.  Towards the bottom is a list that should identify your iPad.
