Reverse Ipad air layout

So I was forced to update my Ipad air and what the bloomin' ipads has happened?

instead of an easy swipe to get a split screen , pages overview or to adjust the screen light i have to extra steps in order to do it. It is annoying and overkill

why was this a good idea? and why has so many steps been implemented in order to do the simplest things- things which I may add were good to use because it was quick and no hassle but now..I feel veins bulging on my forehead on how annoying this new layout feature it is. it took me ages to google a way to get split screen back and now i have to do 4 steps instead of 1. WHY. it is an ipad AIR. it should be light..fun and easy to use. not a freaking app inception rip off.

who in their right mind designed this? this is a step back and puts me off using the bloody ipad. I want the quick swipe to the left back for split screen. a quick swipe up to adjust the light. a quick button to see all my pages. I want the option to get that all back.

I want a quickie ipad back. yes I never thought I would say that but give me a quicky.

As with anything and everything in life, things change and move in a continual state of flux.

Maybe you need all of this to help you properly learn to use and navigate iOS 11.
