How to transport photos from iPad to a computer?

I am manually hooking up my Ipad(IOS 10.2.2) to my Windows 10 PC. I would like to transport about 300 photos over since I am out of space on my IPad.

However, no prompt comes up on eithe  device and in the file explorer section I don't see the iPad.
