Apple Music not sharing previews through iMessage

I used to be able to share albums and songs from Apple Music through iMessage with friends. They could see album art and hit play from the iMessage stream. Now when I share music from Apple Music through iMessage it shows an iTunes link and my friends have to click the link, which redirects them to safari for a second and then to their music app. Here's what it looks like:

Why is this happening and how to I get everything to work like it used to?

So a friend of mine is having the same issue... if she sends me a song it’s says I’m listening to... if I send her one the album art shows and she can play a snippet of the song. Were you able to fix it?
