Ghost touch?

On my IPad Air 2 the right side of my screen has been acting up. This causes extreme trouble for me such as inputting my password or sending emails for business. Random things on the right side open over and over again. But its noy even all the time. I will sometimes turn my device off and i turn it back on for the problem to be fixed but just a little bit later it acts up again! Is this perhaps a virus? A bug? Please give me advice
