iTunes 12.7 does not sync Books as PDF back to ...

iTunes 12.7 does not sync Books as PDF that are present within the iBook app with PC Computer. This means that PDF files aquired e.g. through a Lufthansa airline website cannot be transferred to my PC computer. What works is tranferring from PC computer to iOS via iTunes but not the other way round. Any workaround on this?

You should be able to send a PDF to yourself via email. In future you could access PDFs in a web browser and save to a PDFs folder in files where they would be accessible in iBooks on your device, and via iCloud.com. But it is nowhere near as useful as before.
