Phase cancellation questions

Logic 10.3.2, imac late 2013, 8ram, Sierra 10.12.6, Saffire Pro 40

Hello people,

I use Logic but this question is relevant in any DAW.

Question:  Should the wav troughs and crests of a multi-mic recording be lined up perfectly before mixing?

Example (see screenshot): I recorded a fingerpicking acoustic guitar using 3 inputs (onto 3 separate tracks) — 12th fret mic, bridge mic (3:1 rule) and DI. As you can see on the screenshot (zooming in quite a bit), the waves don’t line up. Especially the 1st and 3rd which might be cancelling each other. (They sound good even when panned hard left/right).

Frankly, I can’t hear a problem (therefore there is no prob?). The discrepancy between the 3 tracks varies quite a bit at different parts of the song.  At times they are in phase, at times out. I am planning on panning these tracks together (as one guit).

1- In this recording context are phase variations completely normal?

1- Am I necessarily lessening my mix audio quality by leaving the discrepancy?

2- Is this discrepancy due to different mic distances (and DI) to source?

Thanks.
