I cannot get a playlist created on my iPhone to transfer to my iTunes library on my PC. I'm afraid if I synch I will erase the playlists on my phone with what is in the iTunes library. I want it to go the other way. I have a 6sPlus with updated software. 

To get a Playlist created on your phone to your iTunes Library you will have to use Sync.

 

Sync (to synchronise) means to make the same, so a Sync will transfer Playlists on your phone back to the Library. You should end up with all the Playlists in your Library and on your phone. Note though, that in order for music purchased on the phone from the iTunes Store to be aded to your Library, your iTunes will need to be signed into the Store (on the same account). Any music on your iPhone from other sources does not transfer back to your Library.
