I am using Apple Watch Series 3 LTE version. I ...

I bought the Apple Watch Series 3 Nike edition.

When i disabled the notification on "Watch" app in iphone, I still receive notifications of the disabled apps on my watch.
I have tried to unpair and pair again before, (heck of a long process).

What should i do to make the "disabling notifications" function work?

besides reseting the watch completely? (not sure even that will help)

Again, checked-off the notification options on Watch app, but still receiving notifications on watch for those apps that i do not want to see notifications on watch.

The following steps may help:

• If you have not yet done so, update your iPhone to the latest software:
  • Update the iOS on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

• Check that your devices are connected via Bluetooth:
  • About Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

• Close the Watch app (if open) on your iPhone and restart both devices (normally):
  • On your iPhone, double-click the Home button, then swipe up on the Watch app preview.
  • Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
  • Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Thanks for the response.

I did the reboot on both devices. and all are connected via bluetooth etc.

The notifications kept on showing up at my watch even I disabled them on iPhone's Watch app. Please help!
