MBP 2011

Hi,

I bought a refurbished MBP 2011 this year of a trusted seller - Pro 13", i7 (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD). My charger broke about three weeks ago due to wear and tear, i ordered another one last week which also broke after a few days. I thought this was kind of strange, but assumed maybe it was down to wattage or just a fault so i ordered an 85w one. When i went to plug it into my dead Macbook, it would not turn on. I let the battery get a full charge before trying again but nothing, no sound or attempt to boot up, completely dead, yet still charging. I tried the SMC reset, but don't think my mac is even registering anything.

So today i decided to open the mac, check nothing was loose or out of place. I disconnected the battery for 10 seconds, tried rebooting, nothing. Then removed the battery and plugged in the AC and it booted up perfectly. Shut it down, reconnected the battery and tried to turn it on again and it wouldnt boot. The battery isn't that old.

Any ideas?
