27" iMac (Late 2013) Screen Freeze

This issue started around the time I upgraded to macOS High Sierra.  This is a Late 2013 model with 3.2GHz Core i5, 8GB RAM, and a 1TB Fusion Drive (I've heard these can have issues???)

Approximately 3-4 times a week my screen will completely freeze except for my mouse.  I can continue moving my mouse around, but clicking on anything or pressing any keys on my keyboard are useless.  I've tried waiting a few minutes (up to about 30) but it does not seem to recover.  This happens often times when I'm on Slack calls (using my iMac), and the call will continue uninterrupted while the screen freezes.

I've tried booting into safemode and running first aid on my hard drive.

I've tried resetting PRAM.

So far, the problem persists.  Am I alone?
