Help! Why do I need a payment method to update ...

I didn’t need to need it now it’s not able to update my free apps if I don’t input a card info 

Plus I don’t have any subscriptions. I’d like to update my 7 apps pending but it won’t go any further

It looks like you're being prompted to enter your payment method in order to update your apps. I can certainly understand the importance of keeping your applications updated, and I'm happy to help you in doing so!

It's not unusual to have to update your billing information in order to purchase new apps or update downloaded ones. If you were using "None" for your payment/credit card info previously, you may still be able to use that option instead of entering credit card information. Update your payment information using the steps here:
