Mini I Pad, purchased 8

Mini eye pad, purchased 8-18-15.  Dead and will not take a charge.  I can not get any information off of the I Pad to answer any of your questions because it is dead.  I have changed outlets, that is the only solution I have come up with.  It was working 2 days ago.  Help

Get a flashlight and check the connector. Remove any debris you find there with a toothpick.
