should i calibrate my batter before installing ...

I just installed a new battery and hard drive, do I calibrate it first before I go to install the OS X ?

It isn't necessary. Just be sure you are connected to the charger when installing OS X.

Deliberately Calibrating (running way down and recharging) is no longer recommended by Apple.

Just use it for a while and it will calibrate by itself just fine.

Deep discharge shortens battery life.
