Can I dive off the block with Apple Watch 2?

Getting a used Apple Watch 2 from eBay for a pretty good deal, and I plan to use it to track my swimming. Since I swim competitively I often have to practice diving off the block and I'm curious if this is safe, or would the force of hitting the water maybe damage the device/surpass the water pressure it can withstand?
