Trackpad gestures Not Working?

I'm new here so excuse me here but I'm having a problem that just occurred yesterday with my built-in MacBook Air trackpad. The trackpad gestures are not working anymore. I have it set like this as seen in the photo below.

I don't know what is causing this to happen but I don't like it and I want this to be fixed (A side note here this is a school computer so I don't have any admin passwords or anything like that so anything that requires that will have to be skipped)

If you can, try resetting the NVRAM: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063.

If no luck, contact the IT department.
