Why do deleted items not appear in Trash until ...
I'm trying to figure out whether my iTunes library file on my main SSD is corrupted or whether my external HDD (where my iTunes media lives) is corrupted.
When I delete an item from iTunes, the item disappears from the library and also from the Finder view of my external hard drive. However, it does NOT show up in Trash. To get it to show up in Trash, I have to quit iTunes, unmount the external hard drive or restart my computer. The Trash will then be magically filled with the deleted items.
What do you guys think is causing this?
