where is the remote button

I am trying to pair my watch to my mac iTunes library. In the directions it says to select the remote button but on my computer there is not remote button. it is a 2011 IMac. What do i have to do to find the button?

The Remote button is only shown within iTunes when a remote is trying to connect:

• In iTunes 12 and newer, the Remote button is at the top left, beneath the Volume slider.
• In iTunes 11 and older, the Remote button is at the top right, beneath the Search field.
