Can I connect simultaneous users to my Mac Pro ...

We are a startup with 3-6 people. Just acquired a mac pro. WE have been told we can plug in 3-6 thunderbolts as 6 different people and work on it simultaneously with separate mice and keyboards ( Somebody on illustrator somebody on excel etc.) How can we do that? Does MacOS Server App make this happen?

No.

Yes you can plug multiple screens, keyboard and mice in but they will all be connected to the same user session and if two people try moving the mouse at the same time you can imagine what happens.

The nearest things to what you are after would require using additional Macs with their own screen, keyboard and mouse and they would then be able to connect to the Mac Pro over the network and simultaneously login and run separate user sessions.

This is a similar approach to a Windows Terminal server but on a Mac it is done via multiple user accounts and screen sharing.

Since each user needs a Mac anyway there is little point to this.

Server.app makes no difference.

The person who told you that does not know what they are talking about.

You can have multiple Accounts, each with their own files and settings, unique in every detail. And if you set it up deliberately, you can also have group files that are shared.

But for a second User to work, the first user has to get out of the chair and get away from the keyboard.

What you described above is Time-Sharing, popular on mainframe-sized computers. There is no Time-Sharing system for the Mac.
