**Internet Slow on Macbook Pro after Sierra Upd...

Hi,

I recently updated to the OS Sierra and since the update I have noticed that my internet and overall computer performance has been considerably slower than normal, although not sure if the update is the reason for the slower performance.  I ran an internet speed test at the same exact time on my Late 2013 Macbook Pro 13" and my roommates Early 2015 Macbook  12".  What I found is that my internet was running at about half of the speed his internet was running at.

Can someone please help me out with this?  I can barely even browse the internet let alone watch videos online.

Might be corrupted network preferences. It can happen after an update or upgrade.

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type or copy paste the following:

/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

Click Go then move all the files in the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.

Restart your Mac. See if that makes a difference.

Your Mac will generate a new SystemConfiguration folder for you.

This actually worked.  I did not move com.apple.Boot.plist as this was reported as required by OSX.

I tried it, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I continuously am disconnected from the internet. I run ping tests on my android phone, with no problems, not a single timeout. Then I run one on my 2015 MacBook Air, and before it gets to 10 there will be a number of request timeouts. What can I do?
