apple watch causing sharp pain on my right hand

how should i wear my apple watch correctly?

Hi

Apple Watch should be worn snugly (neither too tightly nor too loosely) on the top of your wrist:

If you experience redness, swelling, itchiness or any other irritation or discomfort on your skin around or beneath your watch or band, Apple recommends that you remove your Apple Watch and consult a doctor / physician before wearing it again.

Skin reactions can be a result of various causes including:

  • Allergies (eg to nickel).
  • Extended exposure to irritants (eg soap or sweat).
  • Environmental factors.
  • Wearing the band too tightly or too loosely.

I have been wearing my watch for a month. Currently I am getting pain in the hand. But I think the pain is due to the wifi and cell signals going through my hand.   This Watch was purchased to link to my iPad and iPhone to the watch and record my swimming, bike rides and runs.

Currently I am wearing the watch turning off wifi and cell signals. I want to verify that I have no skin allergies, as suggested in a previous reply.   Also I have worn it with different wrist size settings.

Um... no. Never mind that the  Watch does not contain a cellular radio, only WiFi and Bluetooth, the idea that you could possibly be sensitive to such is pure junk science.

Try losing your Apple Watch or if you are using a Non-Apple Band (3rd Party Band) try using the band that came with your Apple Watch.
