How can I save my document from pages to a flash drive?

Locate the file on your Mac, plug in the USB stick (the mac should prompt you to open it, or do this automatically), click and drag the file from the computer (wherever it's saved to) to the USB folder. That's just putting an already saved file there.

To save it TO your USB stick, find it in the Save To diolog on the sidebar. Click it, then save it there.

Plug in a properly formatted flash drive into your MBP. In Pages select Save As from the File menu. Choose the flash drive as the save location and click on the Save button.

If you are using Lion select Duplicate from the File menu. Select Save from the File menu and choose the flash drive as the save location.

And if you meant save it from your phone, you will have to transfer it to your computer (probably via email), then save it to your USB by following my above instructions.

I already know this..  However, when I try to save it to my "no name" USB drive it isn't available.   I click the drop down arrow to select it, and it's there, but.. it isn't bold, therefore.. it doesn't allow me to click on it. Any suggestions?
