Cannot redeem movies codes in iTunes...


I have absolutely no idea what is causing this and it is not an isolated incident.  For the last many months, I have experienced an issue in which I am unable to redeem any new movie content codes through my account.  This happens both with my desktop iMac and my Macbook Pro and has happened with many download codes.   

 

Usually, I will enter the code and hit the 'Redeem' button, which will then turn light grey to show that the code was, in fact, submitted... but nothing happens.  No download.   It just stays greyed out.

 

For some of the codes, where I am re-direct to another website to go through THEIR download re-directory process, I have entered codes which were meant to automatically prompt iTunes open and manually download movies.  Unfortunately, these do not work either.  What is worse is that when I try to go back through the other sites or to input them a second time, I get an error telling me the code was already redeemed and therefore I lose the movie I've already paid to receive!


I've checked my download history and it still shows November 2016 as the last time a download went through (It was Jurassic World, BTW)... and I've reset the "warnings" option and nothing happens.  I go to Report a Problem and it takes me nowhere.  I click the Report a Problem link and I'm greeted with a message indicating "No content available for reporting a problem."
