my user name and account is linked to my brothe...

how do i unlink myself from a family account?  i want to use my personal account and can't.  I've been cut off from renting movies for months.

We are going to need more specific information from you. Where are you signed in? What, specifically, are you referring to? You posted in the iTunes Store forum, and only put that you have an Apple TV and that you are running iOS 10 on some sort of iOS device, but you do not specify what.
