iPad Charging

Whether it's plugged into my Mac or charger, my iPad charging icon flashes on and off. I've tried doing resets but that isn't working. It's not overheating. Any solutions welcomed, thank you.

Some details would be useful.

What model of iPad is it?

Are you using an Apple charger? Apple Cable?  3rd party items?

Have you tried a different cable?

Have you checked the port on the iPad for lint or debris in there that may be affecting the connection?
