I have lost my app store. How can I get it back.

If it's not disabled in Restrictions, try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

Default apps cannot be deleted.  Search all home screens and all folders.

If not found, Settings > General > Restrictions > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

Also see Settings > General > Restrictions to see of Installing Apps has been restricted.

You can't delete it.  It's there somewhere.

If I reset my homepage because my app store isn't there will if make all apps go back to factory settings or just the ones on the homepage?

Help please i jailbreaked my ipod and clicked cydia too many times and it changed everything it deleted my app store and safari . I have already tried restrictions there all on and it doesnt work. ive restet it 3 times nothing happened ive reset the home page layout or whatever and it still didn't work help plz

Sorry, but that's what happens when you jailbreak. You should probably unjailbreak if you do not want it to cause problems. This forum cannot provide assistance with jailbroken devices aside from how to unjailbreak: Restore in Recovery Mode. https://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808.

Then try to undo the restrictions.

Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing apps --> turn this "on".

Suddenly my "App Store" app reappeared on the home screen and a bunch of updates were there waiting to be completed.

I've removed my app store from my home screen. I've done everything it says on these comments and it still doesn't work. I can't get into Restrictions because I need a pass code and I don't have one. Someone please help?

If you looked for it on every screen and you reset the home screen layout (see paulcb post above) then it most likely is restricted. Without the Passcode, you can't get the app back unless you restore your iPad back to factory settings and set the device up as new - and then add, sync or download your content back onto the device.

Actually,more like randomly disappear.

thanks, this worked, no idea that makes the icon go away!  also have to have the delete apps "on".
