Macbook pro 2017 13 inch without touch bar over...

So I bought my new Macbook Pro 2017 13 inch without touch bar about a week ago. It was working well without any problems. However, today I was just listening to Spotify and then I opened safari to watch Netflix. I was connected to WiFi but Netflix wouldn't load. Neither did any other webpages. Then I realized my macbook started to overheat underneath and the fans started making a lot of noise (it was spinning very fast) and was draining a lot of battery. Later, I closed both safari and Spotify and turned off WiFi, and then it started to cool down slowly. Afterwards, I opened Netflix again and it worked but however the voice and video were not in sync. Lol. I got frustrated and then put my laptop to sleep. However, everything is back to normal now. It hasn't been a day yet. I hope it doesn't happen again. I still want to know what happened. Anyone has any idea?

The MacBook Air flow design is designed for be cooled from the back. If you have it on a bed, this can be blocked. MacBooks are infamous for thermal throttling under load, so this could cause the WiFi to slow as well

Was your laptop on a desk or a blanket or bed.

I was on my bed and my laptop was on top of my blanket.

I understand but I wasn't doing any work on my macbook. I was on Facebook and was listening to music on Spotify. It was very weird how webpages on safari stopped loading and macbook started to get very hot. After I closed the safari and Spotify, it started to cool down again. I didn't even put any load on it.

Anyways, today I realized safari sometimes takes very long to load pages. Then I need to quit it and launch it again.
