Media Player Classic alternative

Hi,

I just switched from Windows to MAC, and one thing I couldn't solve yet is that I had Media Player Classic on my W10 notebook and I miss two important features in every media player I tried on MAC so far. These are:

• Opening multiple windows at the same time, or making it remember where I left off last time, when I reopen a file, so I don't have to remember where I was, when I open another video before finishing the current one
• Searching subtitles online without leaving the program. On MPC pressing ctrl+d popped up a list of subtitles found online based on the currently watched video's name and I could open a subtitle in just a few seconds if there wasn't any by default

Do you know any media player on mac with these features, or at least one of them?
