How do i wipe everything on icloud?

In need of a little help, last time I had an iPhone was back when the iPhone 6 was out. I recently brought a iPad pro and will be buying an iPhone when the new one comes out.

1) I want to run my old original account, ive managed to delete all previous photos and videos on icloud but still have a few more memory somehow being used.

I have nearly 5gb of free space available but it still states I have storage in photos file

2) How do I wipe my whole storage and start again before I kick start my new iPad and future iPhone?

I have permanent brain damage so my understanding is limited on something so new so explain as easy as possible please.

3) One last question I have a lot of photos and videos saved on usb stick id like to transfer onto icloud, just how can I do that and can they be kept in the folders they have been put in?

Any help guidance or step by step instructions is much appreciated

On a computer, go to System Preferences/iCloud/Manage and you can delete the files/data there. Using a device, Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Storage/Manage Storage and delete the files/data there.

For the USB stick, in Finder/Preferences/Sidebar/Favorites check iCloud Drive. Drag the files from the USB stick to iCloud Drive. You can also open the Photos application and import the photos/videos, but they may not stay in their folders.

Then go to System Preferences/iCloud, sign in, and check iCloud Drive so it will sync.

Thanks for your help but just how do I find system preferences, dumb question I know sorry?

You can find system preferences in the Apple menu which you'll find in the top left corner of your screen.

On a laptop?

Yes.

But that photo is from a mac not a laptop loll.I have a acer aspire v3-571

Mac's are laptop's too.

If you have one of those other laptops then you can delete your photo library here in the iCloud control panel.

ill give it a shot and let you know thanks very much, might have tried this before without total success

Why are you trying to delete what’s stored in iCloud? Most of that data, like Contacts, Calendars, even your photos, is what you’ll want to sync to your new devices, isn’t it?

Evening all, sorry for the late reply, been a very busy bank holiday weekend, hope you've all enjoyed it so far?Answers to the above questions are......I haven't had anything Apple related for over 2 and a half years in till now so there isn't anything i need to sync to my new device whats in icloud. When I bring up icloud on my laptop it states that I have 71.8mb or 4.93gb out of 5gb avaliable, yet in my photo library when I click on it it states I have no photos or videos as well as 'Your photos and videos are using 71.8mb.
