Should I get the MacPro with or without touchbar

Hello!

So personally I have tried the touch bar and am not a huge fan of it, but I know that the base model with the touch bar has a faster processor (3.1 ghz compared to the non-touch bar with 2.3). I recently broke my 15" pro with 2.5ghz but i7 processor and I loved it. So question is, is it worth it to get the toucher version for the extra speed (since it is a $400 difference) or should I get the touch bar and just get used to having it around? Also, what are the other "extras" the one with the toucher has?

For some additional info: I use my Mac for school work, light video editing, some gaming, recently got into coding, and just daily things. I want the laptop to last me for a long time ($2500 is a big investment) so I need honest opinions here.
