I accidentally deleted my applications icon how...

I am a new user to mac probooks yay! from years of frustration with slow windows celerion powered computers.

I am trying to find my applications and accidentally deleted my applications icon unsure how i can i get it back and bring it back to my icons. I can sometimes find my applications by clicking on finder and typing in "applications" but now i cant find it. I also had an issue yesterday with mission control whenever i tried to access my widgets the widgets would quickly move to the left and disappear and i only solved this problem by rebooting my mac probook.

I have noticed several icons with an arrow next to them do not open at all such as photos,stickies,notes,dashboard,microsoft 2011 even ibooks refuse to open when i try clicking on them?

My probook is plugged in but the percentage of battery used to show 100% now it shows 96%?

Siri doesnt work for me automatically i have to tap on it in a little hard to read but easy to read for ants icon at the top would be nice if siri would work without me having to touch my trackpad.
