Time Machine Keeps Doing Full Backups
Since I updated to High Sierra, Time Machine keeps doing full backups.
I have 4 Time Capsules, a 500GB, 2TB and two 3TB models. All are setup to backup my MBP. Lately, since updating the MBP to High Sierra, the backups are large, like 156 GB. Sometimes I see a smaller and sensible backup of ~50MB. I'm not adding massive new stuff to my MBP, so there is really nothing to not much to be backed up. These frequent 156GB backups are annoying, since they take forever and are clearly unnecessary.
Anybody have an idea what is going on here and how to get the Time Machine back to doing normal incremental backups?
Thanks in advance.
The issue is compounded from Sierra instead of fixed.. it is corrupting its own backup..
Our recommendation is stop using Time Machine to network drives.. only use it to a locally connected drive like USB.
For network use Carbon Copy Cloner or the like. Far more reliable than TM.
