Do I need an iPhone to use the Apple Watch 3?

When I heard that the new Apple Watch was going to have LTE I was excited. I have never wanted to own a cellphone, but always wanted the Watch. Will the phone work without a cellphone or must you have one? If I must have a cellphone for it to work, would the Watch work with a straight talk Iphone?

If you plan on getting the cellular Watch, you need a plan with the same carrier as the iPhone. Contact Straighttalk and find out if they'll support the Apple Watch.
