Bluetooth Toshiba Mouse Not Pairing with Lion

My Toshiba model N554 paired fine with snowleopard. Every since I went to Lion, I have not been able to get it to pair. Please help

Okay, I solved this!

My Toshiba N554 Bluetooth mouse (P/N PA3573U-1ETA) would not pair with

my new Retina Macbook Pro 13 or with my Imac, but will pair to OSX 10.6.8 server mac mini.

Using Xcode, selected Xcode > Open Developer Tool > More Developer Tools, and downloaded

Hardware IO Tools for Xcode, otherwise known as "xcode44hwiotools6938115a.DMG"

started program "Bluetooth Explorer", selected Devices > Show Device Discovery, picked my mouse, from the list, "get device info", "General" tab, pressed "Connected"

By the way, this "Bluetooth Explorer" is not the app listed in the store...

Summary:The tool was able to see and connect the mouse for me.

Good luck!

Followed these instructions and it solved my pairing problem too--thanks

Also just followed these instructions - haven't got a clue what I was doing.....but my Toshiba mouse is now working - Brilliant!

I've got HP bluetooth laser mobile mouse and this tip is working for me as well. Brilliant!

I tried many other without sucess. This one just works even in mountain lion!

You're genius my friend thanx a lot

Thanks for the 'fix'. I installed Mavericks and had the same problem. Interesting one must download Xcode, a 2 gig file to fix a small problem. Just wondering if Apple ever really fixed this, or if there is a way through Terminal to fix it?

Thanks! Your fix works well!

Followed indications with xcode 7.2.1 and hardware tools 6.3 for my imac middle 2011 running OS X 10.10.5 and worked fine.

Big Thank you
