Sierra, preview, pdf documents becomes blurry a...

After upgrading to sierra, there is a new serious bug in preview.  When i open more than a few pdf files (the actually number seems to depend on the size of each file), the new files become blurry and unreadable. The files concerned are scientific journal articles, so they are not gigantic (~100kB to few MB at most). This problem was never there before the upgrade, I used to open far more files than without this problem.

The Sierra upgrade seems to bring many new annoying bugs that are so basic & thus should not be there (preview , screensaver etc...). It gives the impression that macOS is not what it used to be, Apple needs to be careful to not lose consumer confidence.
