Thesaurus Gone

iMac running Sierra. The thesaurus part of the dictionary widget no longer opens when I click on the bar to change from dictionary to thesaurus. Any ideas? Thanks, Jim.

So if it is the Dictionary widget in Dashboard, its settings are controlled via the Dictionary app in your Applications folder, so make sure you have selected Thesaurus as one of your preferences. a restart maybe required to see the changes.

Open the Dictionary and click on Dictionary>Preferences. Make sure that Thesaurus is selected.
