Updating to Mac OS X 10.10.0

Hello,

I am trying to update my Mac OS X software to 10.10.0.

I currently am running Version 10.8.5 on a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 Mac with 8 GB of RAM.

I have downloaded both the OS X 10.10.1 and OS X 10.10.5.

I'm not able to install either version, because the installer says I need to install version 10.10.0 first.

I can't find version 10.10.0 online.

Could anyone please help me by posting a download link to OS X 10.10.0?

The software is also not downloading properly from the software update (it says 'error') so the only way I can download the update is by manually downloading this.

I also tried to update to version 10.9, but the OS X Install update said the software is not supported on my system.

I need to get my software updated so I can get some new DJ software working for work!

I don't understand where in the Mac App Store to download it from.

I opened the Mac App Store with iTunes.

I'm in iTunes, searching in the App category for Yosemite OS X. It does not show up.

Any suggestions?

You don't want the iTunes Store which is only for iPhone and iPad apps.  You want the App Store.  Locate the App Store.app that resides in your Applications folder and launch it. 

That will take you to the correct App Store.

I actually already tried downloading the update from here, it says I download the update but that an error has occured.

I don't think it downloaded correctly, because I don't see the update in my downloads folder.

Is anyone able to post up the link to the OS X 10.10.0 full update here?

The download is to the Applications folder, not the Downloads folder.  We can't post a link to the full updater because it must be accessed thru your Apple account in the App Store. 

If you don't find the previous download, repair disk permissions, reboot and try downloading again.

I don't see the download in the applications folder. What would it be called?

I tried repairing disk permissions and am still not able to download the update from the app store.

What can I do next? I need to get my OS X  updated to 10.10.0.

If this is not possible, then at least OS X 10.9.

I Am having trouble downloading too it might be because iTunes iOS and os x had some updates released the other day and the servers are probably slow with everyone updating. Give it a day or two.

Contact the App Store Support personnel via this link at the home page:

A successful download of the OS X Yosemite installer will now be for OS X 10.10.5. Providing there are no further issues on your end, this 5.73 GB OS X installer will appear in your Applications folder as the following icon. If you have a slow Internet connection, fix a new pot of coffee.

I am looking for yosemite 10.10.0 to update from snow leopard, but I don't find it in app store. Now it's only ELcapitan buy I don't want it.

If you previously downloaded it from the Mac App Store, log in with the same Apple ID and click on the Purchases tab. If not, go to a physical Apple Store and ask.

1. Open App Store application on your computer

2. Once in App Store, Sign into your Apple account at the top under "Store" drop-down menu.

3. Once your Apple account is signed in, click on the "Purchased" icon at the top of the App Store Application window.

4. Once in the Purchased tab, you should see all of your previous purchased software. "IF" you previously have purchased any of the older Operating Systems (OS), you should see the old versions of the Apple OS if you previously had downloaded it. You can only get El Capitan now as a "new" upgrade download.

I also have been to the App store and am unable to find Yosemite 10.10.  If it's actually there I'm unable to find where it's located.
