Only print/pdf odd pages of documents

I previously posted this inquiry while running Sierra, but have now re-installed a new copy of OS X on my MacBook, and this is still happening; Yosemite instead of Sierra was just installed

 

Basically, pages 1, 3, 5, 7, etc of documents print; even pages are omitted.

 

As this happened even after a new copy of Sierra was downloaded and put on my Mac, is it possible that some setting backedup in iCloud is doing this? 

 

Looks Like 10.10.5 was installed when I reinstalled the OS.  I will reinstall Sierra, but the persistence of this problem suggests it's not the OS.

 

Again, this problem occurs irrespective of what application I am attempting to print from.   HELP!
