Apple Pay does not work

I have a iPhone 6 with latest software update put my debit and credit card on apple wallet but both do not work in store,tried in numerous stores  have spoken to my bank there is nothing wrong with cards have restarted the phone deleted cards and put them back on to no avail still does not work
