Replaced Hard Drive What do I need to change on...

Sorry if this is already answered. I installed a new hard drive in my iMac. I reinstalled date from the old drive.Since the new drive has a different name I was wondering what I need to do with Time Machine.

• What year was the iMac made?
• Where did you get the new HD, what brand and model is it?
• If the computer is a 2009 or later iMac how did you handle the temperature sensor cable issue?
• How did you install Mac OS onto the new HD?
• Specifics about what you are trying to understand about your TM drive.
